A federally registered, volunteer‑powered non‑profit based in Ottawa, fostering enduring connections between Canada and Indonesia through culture, education, technology, and community service since 2005.
Founded in 2005 by Canadians and people of Indonesian heritage, ICC exists to enrich Canada’s multicultural fabric by sharing Indonesian perspectives, values, culture, and heritage within communities across the country. We serve as a welcoming hub for newcomers, a bridge for cultural and professional exchange, and a catalyst for youth and community‑led initiatives.
To cultivate a vibrant forum that deepens ties—especially between Canada and Indonesia— across education, technology, culture, and social impact, so that together we help shape a more inclusive and sustainable future for the next generation.
We prioritize belonging, care, and reciprocity—celebrating diversity and lifting one another up.
We partner with schools, organizations, and civic groups to multiply impact across borders.
We share knowledge, mentor youth, and promote lifelong learning through programs and events.
We steward resources responsibly and act with transparency, accountability, and respect.
Welcome sessions, orientation resources, and peer networks that make settling in Canada smoother.
Festivals, workshops, and community gatherings showcasing Indonesian arts, cuisine, and traditions.
Talks, mentorships, and partnerships that highlight innovation and foster cross‑border collaboration.
